Over the past several months we have been working very hard to create the new Cooking with Nonna website because we wanted to create a forum where our Italian and Italian-American Nonne could share with everyone some of their stories and of course their recipes. As we roll out the new site we hope that you are happy with the results and we thank you for your patience.

As you will notice, one of the focal points of the new Cooking with Nonna website is the Nonna TV Channel. Through this channel, we will deliver the original webisodes that we will produce. Each webisode will feature a new Nonna that will work with Rossella to prepare some of the original recipes from the region of Italy that the nonna is from.

 Each  Monday, starting on June 15, at 8:00PM EST, a new webisode will be released on Nonna TV for you to enjoy.  Of course all past webisodes will be available in our Video Library for you to enjoy at any time.

However, we also wanted to give our visitors and members an opportunity to better understand where our Nonne come from. Of course the Nonne come from Italy and everyone knows where Italy is. But  Italy is not just Rome and Florence and Venice and Tuscany and Capri.  There is so much other beauty in Italy that is very often overlooked and not often visited.  As you visit the Our Nonne page, we will take you through a virtual tour of Italy where, through some of the beautiful photos that we have selected for you from every region of Italy, you will be able to visit Italy from the northern regions in the Alps to the warm regions of the south. Of course, as you travel through Italy, you will meet our lovely Nonne from every region that have graciously participated in this project and the many others that will join the project in the future.  We hope you really enjoy your trip.

Of course you can also go straight to Our Recipes page and browse through the collection of original recipes submitted by our Nonne. All the recipes have a beutiful presentation photo, with detailed ingredients and instructions, and many of them also have visual step-by-step instructions so that you can also make them at home.

But this is only the beginning.  As we move forward not only more and more Nonne will join the extended family but we will continue to add  new features and content to continue to make this experience a pleasant and learning one.
